January 30th, 2012
Whether he fascinates you or irritates you, Karl Lagerfeld’ s omnipresence in the media cannot be ignored. He’s done multiple collaborations with big name brands (H&M, France traffic police, Coca Cola Light, Métro etc…) and for this, amongst a sea of industry snobs, Karl is nothing if not a key pioneer of democratic fashion. For this, we cannot thank him enough.
It’s therefore that his latest collab, a collection titled, simply, Karl, with über e-tailer Net-A-Porter, doesn’t surprise is in the least and we can’t help it but be completely thrilled to have immediate access to his genius designs. The collection itself, is a reflection of Lagerfeld, rife with rock n roll isnpired black and white pieces.
70 pieces total, the collection has everything. Dresses, pants, sweaters. Shoes and accessories too. And even, gloves—a not to subtle nod to Lagerfeld’s personal tastes.
The line is only available for the next month on Net-a-Porter. Like all things exclusive, scoring your must-haves by the 28th of February will require a certain amount of hastiness on your part. But we’re never ones to let you go it alone. Here are our top 5 picks from the range…all still in stock!
This grey sweater, not only really on-trend for spring but made cooler with PVC sleeves.
The tuxedo blazer, which has a chic finish that works as easily for a night out as it does in effortless off-duty looks.
The metallic skinny jeans for a look that’s as much rock n’ roll as it is glam!
The lightweight tank, printed with Karl himself. No doubt a versatile piece that will not only go with just about everything, but inevitably make any outfit that much cooler.
The baby pink motorcycle vest that speaks to your inner romantic and with which you’ll never part ways.
The collection is going fast and we can’t promise our picks will be available much longer—so hurry!
